Will Call
The Scan into Will Call feature allows for more accurate prescription tracking. Once a prescription is bagged and ready for pick-up or delivery, it is scanned into Will Call, the workflow status is updated and a Rexall Reminder is sent to the patient, if they are enrolled.

Rexall Reminders will be triggered to send once the prescription has been scanned and updated in the Scan into Will Call module. For more information about when an notification is sent, see the dropdown below.
Rexall Reminders Notification Settings
Communication Method Notification sent after scanned into Will Call Notification cutoff time* If multiple prescriptions are ready at the same time, how many notifications are sent out? Phone 4 hours 8 pm local time If all prescriptions are scanned into Will Call within 240 minutes (4 hours) of each other, one notification is sent to the patient.
If the prescriptions are scanned into Will Call with a gap of 240 minutes (4 hours) or greater or each other, the patient will receive multiple notifications.
Text 2 minutes 10 pm local time If all scripts are scanned into Will Call within 2 minutes of each other, one notification is sent to the patient.
If the prescriptions are scanned into Will call with a gap of 2 minutes or greater of each other, the patient will get multiple notifications.
Email 2 minutes 10 pm local time If all scripts are scanned into Will Call within 2 minutes of each other, one notification is sent to the patient.
If the prescriptions are scanned into Will call with a gap of 2 minutes or greater of each other, the patient will get multiple notifications.
*For all communications methods, if the prescriptions are scanned into Will Call after the cutoff time, the notification is not sent until 8 am the next business day, regardless if the pharmacy is closed or not.

If a Rexall Reminder was sent a patient picks up their prescription, Nexxsys will try to cancel the reminder.

Rexall Reminders will continue to write a Patient Care History record with the call information (date/time call was sent and the activity type, e.g. Rexall Reminder).

Push notifications from the BeWell app will be triggered by Scan into Will Call. A patient does not need to be signed up for Rexall Reminders in order to receive push notifications from the BeWell app.
